What is Krysten Ritter's Style essence? Part Two.
In part one of this post. I began to take you through the process of style typing, actress, Krysten Ritter. Krysten is tall, thin, and sharp looking. She is often typed as pure dramatic in the Kibbe system She is clearly dramatic, but I discovered that she is a gamine as well. I also found that natural and classic styles do not compliment her. That leaves us with three style essences to confirm or dismiss: ethereal, romantic, and ingenue. First up is ethereal. Let's see Krysten in ethereal style.
These ethereal styles don't look good at all on Krysten. That first dress really isn't bad. But on the right person it could have looked amazing. The second dress isn't that good on Krysten either, but something is connecting. That dress is a "romantic ethereal" dress. The ethereal isn't the essence that is connecting, it is the romantic. Let us make sure that Krysten actually has romantic.
Ruler shaped Krysten, looks better than expected in romantic styles. That is because the first priority when style typing, is the face. Once the face matches the essence, the body will as well. Krysten's face actually has a lot of womanly curves to it despite it's sharpness and boyishness.
So far Krysten is a dramatic gamine romantic. But there is one more essence to check for, ingenue. After looking at many pictures, it's clear Krysten's face is capable of expressing sweetness. The problem is that very often romantic gamines can be confused for ingenues, so I cannot just assume.
I looked at many pictures of Krysten Ritter. Even though a full analysis wasn't done for her like what would be done for clients, at the moment, I am inclined to believe that she has the following:
Primary essences:Dramatic Gamine Romantic
Secondary essences: none
Tertiary essences: Ingenue
Now let's see Krysten in her style essence.
